Pilot Just-Meet Stylus Pen Combo
“Marketing is everything and everything is marketing”
I heard this once from a friend of mine named Len. It always stuck with me. It’s true, don’t you agree? Whether it’s a job hunt, a product search, or even getting a new mate. A new mate you say? Well, what about e-harmony? Or Match.com? Or any of these other Internet matchmaking services. Like I said, it’s all about marketing yourself, a product, a name……..aahhhh
names.
Names are tricky. One name means one thing to someone or another thing to someone else. Names can stick with you, and sometimes that isn’t for the best……New Coke! There, I said it - isn't that a popsicle headache of a memory. FOREVER!
Which brings me to my next review, the “Just-Meet” pen/stylus combo.
The “Just-Meet”? I know. Fairly bizarre name. OK. Really bizarre. But, don’t let that name keep you from considering it. The “Just-Meet” happens to be a great buy, and a great
stylus pen.
The "Just-Meet" is very similar to the famous Pilot Pentopia 2+1 stylus pen combo. It has three different options. A pen, a stylus and a mechanical pencil. All three are very easy to access by way of different color nibs on the upper barrel (product shot). Each nib is color coded.
The thing that sets the “Just Meet” (I love saying that…it’s so odd it works for me.) apart from the Pentopia and other stylus pens for that matter is the construction of the barrel. It’s made out of wood. There are two options available, light or dark. Now, I’ve been using the light colored one for awhile now, and the cool thing about it is that after an
amount of time, the wood started to age. It acquired a nice patina from the use. Now it looks cool and also, it’s original. No two “Just Meets” will age the same way.
The stylus point on this baby is also something to consider. It is one of those high tech extra safe on the screen jobs that not every stylus pen has these days. It really protects your screen from scratches and scrapes. The pen option works like a charm as well. No globs or skips.
What’s more, it is very comfortable to use. The barrel is wider than normal and quite comfortable to hold. Your fingers won’t get tired after taking those copious notes at your next three hour meeting on improving the marketability of product line XYZ.
So take it from a guy who knows. “The Just-Meet” might have quite the funky name, but it is a great stylus pen and a great buy at around $20.00 bucks. That’s for either the light or the dark wood. Come on! Be an original. And hey, if someone asks where you got the cool pen, tell them to “just meet” you online at your favorite stylus
site.
OMG! What a great geeky pickup line……
