Klick-Fix Stylus Holder, Pen Holder...Everything Holder!

I have something to tell you.  Writing about pens and styli and accessories is not as easy as it sounds...even for a geek like me that enjoys this stuff.  Luckily there are always some new and crazy gadgets that come across your desk that make the job interesting.

Klick-Fix Stylus Holder, Pen Holder, Everything HolderSo there I was, sitting at my desk trying to figure out what to write about.  I was looking for inspiration.  Sitting there, gazing at the plethora of pens, styli, combinations of the two, I just could not focus on any one item.  While I was rocking back and forth in my chair, I was playing with a Klick-Fix pen holder.  Then it hit me.  Duh.  This little UFO shaped product is a brilliant invention.  The Klick-fix was actually invented by a guy in Germany.  Thanks goodness he patented it, because otherwise the Klick-Fix would be the most copied item in the gadget world.

Actually, it is painfully simple, which, let’s face it, is usually the case with all great ideas.  The Klick-Fix is made up of a small base on which sits two halves of a circle.  Each half expands to hold any variety of pen or stylus snugly, and securely.  See? Simple.

The best part about this is that it actually works.  I have tested this with many shapes of pens and styli.  Every one fit beautifully in between these spring loaded grabbers.  Yet each time I went to grab the item, it released just as easily.  The click-fix has an adhesive base that can stick to any surface.  The side of a computer, a desk, a wall, refrigerator, or in a car.

The more I thought about it, the more I thought about how frustrating it is when you are looking in a drawer, or on a counter, or on a work bench, for all of the small tools, utensils, etc. that we always trip over until we need them.  Now I have them all over my house...(it adds a bit the 70's look & feel that I can never let go of...).  All I can say is that, when you have one, you'll want 10 more (at least...).  At $1.79 the are also pretty cheap, considering all the things it helps keep me from losing (and consequently buying again...).  We understand that they have been sold in stores in the U.S. from time-to-time...but we found them most quickly on the Web at www.stylisource.com, www.e-tether.com. & www.styluscentral.com.
